Google recently released a new Android Auto build for preview on the beta channel. It seems the testing went as planned since the company is now rolling out the Android Auto 14.3 stable Android Auto 14.3 beta update is now available for downloadupdate. It is still a phased rollout and will take time to arrive for everyone, but you can download and install the Android Auto 14.3 APK manually.
Android Auto is probably one of the best-supported Google apps. A new update arrives every fortnight, and while it does not seem to bring new features every time, it resolves issues and optimizes performance. For the most part, it tells us about new additions Google is working on. This time, we are expecting the arrival of Material 3 Expressive design, perhaps with stable Android 15.
Details of Android Auto 14.3 stable update

Google is rolling out the update via the Play Store for everyone. You can head over there to download the stable v14.3.651804. The update hints at Material 3 Expressive design for Android Auto, but you can not enable it just yet. Perhaps Google plans to release it with Android 16, arriving next month.
Meanwhile, Material 3 Expressive Design is an evolution of Google’s Material You Design. It focuses on enabling a more emotional, engaging, and brand-reflective user interface. It offers expanded theming, expressive shapes, motion, and component flexibility. The idea is to enable developers to create unique, memorable experiences that fit the product’s identity and expectations of users.
While the changes have yet to take full effect, Google has introduced a vibrant theme. Both the dark and light themes are now vibrant. There is no blur theme for Google Assistant, which has been replaced with a flat material 3 icon. Of course, your device wallpaper icon is replicated on the Android Auto system.
